A note to young leaders.
The main battle isn’t taking place on the outside, it’s taking place on the inside.

I got a call from an entrepreneur-friend on the weekend.

He was dispirited. He rattled off a whole series of difficulties and said: “I’m just worn out. The stress is immense.”

This is what I told him: “Difficulties and disappointments are inevitable but stress and distress are optional.”
It’s not the water outside the ship that sinks the ship. It’s the water the ship lets in.
