Don’t Fear Recession

A note to young leaders.
Don’t be intimidated by rumours of recession.

The economic outlook is often “short-term scary” but it’s always “long- term exciting”. Play the long game.

Say to yourself: “Even if there’s a recession, I will not recede.”
So what if the ocean shrinks by 2%? Why should this be of any concern to a small fish like you and me? We can still grow by 200%.

The same is true of your business. If your revenue is less than AUD 500 million, you are a small fish with plenty of room to grow.

Don’t let the media persuade you to adopt a defensive mindset. Opportunities abound.
Maintain a growth mindset.
