Getting In Is Easy. Getting Out Isn’t.
A note to young leaders.
Think hard before you make any meaningful commitment.
Why?
Because in all things – it’s easier to get in, than it is to get out.
Easier to dive in than to climb out.
Which is easier?
- To get into an investment or to get out of it?
- To get into a relationship or to get out of it?
- To get into debt or to get out of it?
- To invite someone on a board or to kick them off?
As the Bard of Avon correctly counselled: “Give every man thy ear, but few thy voice.”
