Climate Change is No Longer Theory, It’s Reality

A reminder that while the world contends with a global health crisis, that other “inconvenient” global crisis hasn’t conveniently disappeared.

I speak of course of climate change.

Last month, for the first time on record, precipitation fell as rain — not snow — at the summit of Greenland. That’s roughly two miles above sea level. https://lnkd.in/gMub3wAR

Climate change is no longer theory – it’s reality.

And while more than a hundred countries have joined an alliance aiming for net-zero emissions by 2050 – this is still aspirational and not always backed by legislation.

Net zero emissions. We can achieve it by 2050. Let’s get it done.
