Gratitude: A Habit of Great Mentors
To young leaders.
The two great mentors of my life – one was a mystic, the other an atheist.
But they both took every opportunity to express how lucky/blessed they were. And they made a habit of expressing their gratitude out loud, whether they were in company or alone.
“How good is this ?!”, “How lucky are we to be here ?!”, “How blessed are we to be experiencing this ?!” – they often remarked rhetorically.
At work meetings, on holidays, in restaurants and in boardrooms – they constantly broadcasted their appreciation of the moment and the experience.
Make gratitude a habit – it will radically transform your well-being.
