The Story Your Face Tells: Shaping Your Legacy
Note to self.
Face is biography.
As the mind goes, the face is sure to follow.
We receive the face we are born with, but we earn the face we grow into.
Of all the things we wear, our expressions are by far the most important.
Our expressions reflect our beliefs and attitudes to things both big and small – a spilt drink, a cancelled meeting, a warm welcome, a practical joke etc.
The millions of thoughts transcribed upon our face will – over years and decades – through smiles and scowls, clenched jaws and pouting lips – line and code our countenance.
At fifty-one, my face already tells a story. So does yours.
Let’s make it a story full of striving and hope – and in years to come, let’s strive to make it still more hopeful.
