The Superpower of Deep Listening

Note to self.

I learn and grow primarily through my eyes (reading, observing) and my ears (listening).

Listening is therefore a super power.

Deep listening requires me to suspend my internal dialogue so I can fully inhabit my colleague’s reality. It’s a form of meditation.

If I don’t do that – I’m not so much listening as waiting for my turn to talk.
