
Discover and Focus on Your Superpowers
Here’s a bit of mentoring advice I regularly give to a new generation of leaders.
Up to about the age of 27, you should assume you don’t know yourself all that well. So, be curious and try lots of new roles and skills.
But by the age of 30, write down the 2-3 aptitudes that come easily to you (but others find difficult). These are your superpowers.
Focus your role and skills almost exclusively on your superpowers. Change companies if you must, it’s that important.
You’ll not only multiply your enjoyment at work, you’ll multiply your remuneration.
Give the world of your very best and it will return the favour.
