We are all called to serve a purpose higher than that of our own prosperity.

Our higher purpose has a tendency to float higher over time, as we attempt and accomplish more.

To discover your higher purpose at any given point in time, listen to your internal dialogue when you’re alone. What do you think about when you’re not thinking about anything at all?

What do you think about when you’re walking alone to the railway station or to your parked car, assuming you have nothing in particular on your mind?

Family, country, an invention, a new venture, religion, the meaning of life?
