Leadership Presence and Impact
A note to young leaders.
When a leader enters a room, everyone in their team should instantly feel that the mission is not only achievable but worthy of the effort.
My father used to say to me as a teenager: “If you’re any good as a leader, you’re mere presence should lift your team’s self-belief and energy by 10% … and if you’re better than good, that number is 20%.”
But you can’t do that if you and your team are WFH for most of the week.
A leader cannot hide in their cubby. A leader needs to be seen to be believed.
